I don't know if covering your car in plastic—ORACAL 970RA—is better than painting it and, to be honest, I don't really care. But I do care about a car 'magically' wrapping itself in plastic in a cool stop-motion video. That, for me, would be really something. Check it out:

Jaguar unveiled their new car model to the world—the #NewXF—making it cross the Thames river, in London, over a two-inch-wide (34 mm) and 787-foot-long (240 meters) high-wire. The car made it successfully to the other side establishing a insane but, nonetheless, extraordinary new world record.

It doesn't matter how much money you have. If you are not tough enough, you can't afford this car. If that were true we would be living in a completely different planet with a completely different set of principles. But this is Earth and this video is just an ad. A pretty good one.

According to burnham-on-sea.com a citizen from Bristol, UK, drove his SUV a mile down the beach until its wheels got stuck. The sand around the car was so soft that other cars couldn't get close enough to pull it free. Eventually the tide reached it and swallowed the car completely.

If Volvo had to appeal to Van Damme's epic split to sell more trucks, Hyundai just released this insane self-driving demonstration to try to sell their vehicles: A group of stuntmen jump from the roof of moving cars leaving them on their own. It's impressive to see the cars driving and braking without a driver.

This hilarious Volkswagen commercial shows why car chases will become as obsolete as those old movies that depend on telephone landlines to make their plots work.
